yes chaps, it was a good night. Good crack and decent beer to be had as always.

I do however have one slight confession......

I threw up on the way home and most of Saturday

Saying that, I've been feeling ropey ever since and the missus has been ill too so I think it may have been a stomach bug that didn't like beer!

When is the next one? Any suggestions on venues?

Not a problem get a few brewery swaps in!! Put a cask behind the bar!! I'm easy as to where Quakers in Darlington is a good venue, plenty in Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham! F all in Boro apart from one fitzgeralds pub or a wetherspoon!!!!!!!!!!

agreed, 22's is a lot more expensive too. Its always full of rich looking business men, far too snobby.

I posted yesterday but it's disappeared, maybe I didn't hit submit.

If you want to stay in Durham, I reckon The Market Tavern is quite good, great selection of ales, maybe a bit noisier later on but still a great pub.

If you want to go somewhere else, what about either Fitzys or The Kings Arms in Sunderland, again, good selection of beer and less than a mile apart from each other.

Me and Darlo Dave bumped into one another in the Quaker one day, it is a great pub as well, with loads of choice.
