This is the Sutton based comp that can be found out about here.
Is anyone in, and what are you showing? To start the ball rolling I'm putting in 6 bottles of Stiff Squirrel.
97% Pale Malt
3% 40L Crystal
90 min Fuggles to 33IBU's
15min Challenger to 4IBU's
15min Dried Elderflower 15g
S-04 yeast
As their slogan goes...walk in, stagger out! It was good fun last year and it was all you can drink for the entrance fee

I have two brews that are going down . . . If I can find anyone to take them, otherwise I have to trust the vagaries of the postal system . . . and pay the price for it

I'm in with 2 beers:
A humungously hoppy pale - EDIT Firstgold /EDIT beyond belief

and something along the lines of FLP, but with different hops.

just trying to work out how much i can brew of each as the brewery seems a bit full at the moment.

And i'm going down by train, so am nervous as hell about gingerly traversing the capital with my precious cargo!

Am planning to go and have a Townes IPA style beer for entry.

Might drop beers off in advance by car and then get the train in for the bunfight itself

Still not quite decided.
This weekends 1850 porter will probably still be a bit "young" to be fully appreciated.
I might still have 6 bottles of Styrian Summer.....

Must check out the trains.

Quick question about these events, how do you get the beers there without disturbing the sediment

I'm turning up with 12 bottles of Mild. Will be my first festival and I'm looking forward to it.

I've spoken to Richard and he says they can be entered on the day around 9.30, no later than 10am. Does mean I have 4 hours to kill in Sutton before the doors open at 1.30pm. May be a case of stagger in, stagger out

Sounds like a large breakfast, the racing post, and a warm-up pint! Almost a plan

I'm undecided too but if I come I'll be bringing the amber malt + first gold hops, 'Wild Hare' -esque ale.

I drove last year  terrible idea, all that beer and had to sip like a communion goer. Ought to find out how to get there via train.

I had to duck out of typesetting the CBA newsletter earlier this year, I hope they don't hold it against me
