Brodie's Beer Festival, East London 5/9/09

Post by tomU » Wed Sep 02, 2009 12:12 am

Thought I'd take the opportunity to drum up a bit of publicity for our 1st anniversary beer festival this week...

Brodies micro-brewery was opened in the summer of 2008 by James and Lizzy Brodie in a disused brewery at the back of the William IV pub on Leyton High Road. Since then the brewery and pub have gone from strength to strength and to celebrate we are having a festival in the pub this coming saturday.

We'll be offering at least 12 Brodies beers over the day, all of which are brewed with a homebrew spirit I'm sure will be admired by members of the forum. Amongst these will be several pale ales bursting with hops, bitters, a wheat beer, a mild, an irish red ale and a 7.5% porter. ALL WILL BE SERVED AT JUST £1.99 A PINT!

We will be opening up our 5 barrel plant for those interested in looking at our kit.

We will be open from 11am to 12pm this Saturday, 5th September
Address: 816, High Road, Leyton, London, E10 6AE

Hope to see some of you there!
