Are we looking at camping then? I may look at renting a motor home!

As long as it's not the weekend starting September 17th because i'm off to Oktoberfest (oh yes).

Looks like camping is the thing means no driving home on a skinfull. As i said before i can accomodate 2 people in my caravan has a shower, hot water toilet etc. Will be on first come first served basis.Oktoberfest is an event to remember if you can been to a couple.

Can we also agree if it is a full weekend or which night of weekend would suit.

Can we not just all chip in and rent a stately home with hot and cold running butlers and maids for a weekend?

( I just misread Mysti's post as "I may look at renting a manor house" )

I'd be up for it. Any of the first weekends in July.
Location: Plenty of campsites near Jim's area of Washington but anywhere really.

Perhaps Jim or Andy could work out a rough geographical average.
I know that 4 out of 6 suppliers I am likely to use are north of Stoke/Derby/Notts; this and the apparent location of members seems to indicate a significant northerly bias.
So if this is going to be a national gathering, those north of Hadrian's wall will have to be allowed out, and us down sarf will have to get the jabs.
There might be a case for two Festivals, say above and below Brum??

Camping seems to be the common ground and least expensive, while Adm's maids have much more appeal =P~ [-o< [-X

Personally, many of the summer weekends are already booked, but I will try to get to wherever it ends up.

But that doesn't make sense. I'm not called Dave.
(You line 'em up, I'll knock 'em down)

I vote for a sunny weekend, outside of school holidays and a ban on bringing kids...

I'd have to bring my kids, but they're pretty well behaved. It's the mrs that'd get on my nerves with things like "Don't you think you've had enough" so I'll try and leave her at home.

I'm in Brighton and can do weekends in July. Happy to travel to the Midlands. Kids? Just when I thought I was getting away from them for the summer
