Oh well,Only JBK gadge there last night. Had some stunning beers there were 100 to try, Me and a mate managed 24 between us(1/2 pints). Our favourites were

Kelburn brewery Pivo Estivo
Green Jack Orange Wheat beer
By more than a country mile THE winner for us was Strathaven Ales Summer Glow. Totally outstanding fruity sweet hoppy ale. Would have drank this one all night but discipline in all things!

Had my first experience of cat's piss aroma in ales last night with 2 beers. Not a huge fan!

Tried Perry for the first time, sulphur nose but cracking taste.

Going back on Saturday afternoon with SWMBO and another couple.

Today i will mostly be wearing a grateful dead tie died T-shirt. What a day for a beer festival.

I totally agree, I've never been impressed by Strathaven beers in the past but Summer Glow is really superb.

I've not tried Summer Glow but I had a pint of Pivo Estivo at Blackfriars a few weeks and thought it was a good pint.

Well worth looking out for. Looking forward to the Stonehaven beer festival. Not sure which date. Think it might be August or Sept this year.
