I have just been contacted by a CAMRA representative who I spoke with earlier this year about the forming of our Nottingham brewers group.
He is wondering if we are still interested in maybe giving some beer away for charity at the rather large Nottingham Beer Festival later this year and raising the profile of home made beers.
Personally I am up for this and would like to enter a 4.5gallon pin, if we could get a few of us together from the midlands area who are happy to give their beer away for a good cause or two I think it would make for a great occasion.
We could have a 'stall' as such and take pride in sharing some good home made ale amongst many other brewers.

Only just read this. I might have some bottled stout I could bring (an AG Guinness clone with 10g of Challenger thrown in). Hopefully there'll be carbonated by then as I'll be bottling up this weekend.

Haven't ordered tickets for me or my wife yet but babysitter willing we'll be there.

There didnt seem to be any interest so I havent bothered orgainsing anything for this. Sorry.

Me and the missus are going along with my sister and her fella. The beer line up looks superb, we got tickets for Friday and Saturday and a night in a hotel (only £29 for a room!) so we should be able to sample a good few between us all

I'm going today - I do hope the sun comes out as i'm currently at Derby station freezin my n***s at off waiting for the train to turn up!

Apparently I AM now going for a friends birthday but not till tomorrow at 5pm, hmmm what a great time to go when evry man and his dog will be there! Not really my idea of a beer festival, 800+ beers and millions of people. The venue is way too small as well. Give me a nice cosy local one in a pub!
