Sutton 2010?
Re: Sutton 2010?
I've been the last few years on the trot but not attending this year. The venue was way too cramped, worse than the room above the pub they used before.
Good luck to all JBK members who go, I know it will be well supported and so it should be, but I like to be able to move around freely and sit down to drink (I'm of that age!)

Way too cramped, I agree. You couldn't move in there. That said I'll be there again

Re: Sutton 2010?
I'll be there again this year. Apparently they are going to spread the beers around both rooms this year which will help with the cramped conditions.
Re: Sutton 2010?
I'm going again. Glad they are spreading the beer about before we get there this time. I might enter a beer or two as well!
It will be nice to see a few of the familiar faces again

Hoping to be there having missed last year.
Trying to decide what to enter
Need to organise a driver or is it really only a 10min walk to the station.......

Re: Sutton 2010?
It's not that far, and there's a bus from Sutton Rail Station which stops pretty much outside.
Re: Sutton 2010?
The walk isn't so bad. I managed to get to the station after the event no problem, I just failed to get on a train...

Yep. Last year was cramped but goooood.... What's more, there was hot food on offer which despite being cheap, also managed to be gooooood.

Buses from Sutton station look pretty good.
You can get a 280 or 80 and they should be every 10-12mins.
With a stop very close to Sutton Lodge which is GATTON CLOSE
Timetables for route 280
Timetables for route 80
My entries are already with a relative in Coulsdon and will be delivered for me - if he doesn't drink them before the time
Time to topup that Oyster card!

One of mine is still in the fermenter
The 280 is really easy to get there and back. I think we dropped in the Cock and Bull for lunch beforehand (Fullers pub, thought it did a pretty good pint of Chiswick
