Edinburgh Midweek Meeting - Wed Dec 15th

The regular midweek meeting will be on Wednesday 15th December. We meet at Elgin House, 6 Easter Road, Edinburgh for a 7:30pm start.

We welcome all brewers (and wannabe brewers): all grain, extract or kit.

Some of you will have heard about the recent sudden death of one of out most prominient members, Roddy Beveridge. Well Roddy's uncle has given the SCB a cornie of IPA so that his friends can enjoy a drink in his honour. We are going to take it to the Edinburgh Midweek meeting this Wednesday so it will be good to see you if you can make it along to raise a glass to Roddy.

The meeting is still open to all so please feel free to come along as it is a great opportunity to meet brewers in the area.

Davie Martin, owner of Edina Homebrew, is going to bring some homemade steak and mushroom pies and there will be a selection of beer from the usual culprits.

What a great meeting it was on Wednesday night. We had a very large attendance for such a small room, great beer, Davie's pies and also some poignant anecdotes to remember Roddy by.

So thanks to everyone who turned up.
