2012 National - Regional Drop Offs

Post by alikocho » Mon Feb 27, 2012 10:06 pm

It would be great if this year, we could set up more regional drop offs, not least as it saves postage for people and will help this be truly national. I have a few lined up, but there could definitely be more...

Could those who are able to act as regional collection points, or who might be able to sort one out (breweries and pubs are often good spots), and then get beer to Bristol, let me know and I'll add it to the competition site?

One idea last year was a drop off at the GBBF, but I'd need a CAMRA insider to pull that off. And an agreement with the GBBF organisers. And then some means of getting it back to Bristol (which is probably fairly easy).

Posting mostly to bring the thread back up the list to help Ali get more help (if indeed he needs more).

I'm in Towcester which is about 6 miles from junction 15a on the M1 so people can drop off at mine easily.

Great! I'll add you to the site later on.
