waterloos twice yearly (march and november)

were doing liverpool as well next year(camra have one in febuary in the crypt that we sponsor, well be doing one at st georges hall) with 500 beers (including craft keg) and 100 ciders in september...... hopefully......

Just attended the event and had a really good time.

Sorry I can only just remember my name. The RIS Stouts were all good

well i think it went really well apart from one pair of tossers who must have had 40 odd samples from various staff and complained about the lot including buxton, trufitt, marble, brodies, cheshire brewhouse ! in the end lost my rag with them and offered to take em out side for some education , which they declined, and never went near me again for the rest of the festival session, all staff were told to treat em courteously but no more free samples!

I must admit I had a conversation with one character, while waiting to be served. He seemed intent on trying everything and was scared to death of getting a beer that might not be to his liking. He was amazed that I was just ordering a drink based purely on the description.

BTW: the standard of the beer was high last time, but I thought this time round it was even better. My wife and I enjoyed every beer we were served.

We had great time friday and Sunday
Tried 28 different beers without having a single taster
Cant stand those serial tasters

the first of this years festivals is on this weekend, rather a good range too! tickets pretty much sold out now!
