Wish I'd not bothered now.... Last time I went to Ponds Forge for a beer festival it was a CAMRA do.... Now that was a beer festival!!!!

Don't get me wrong, a good spread and some cracking beers on but the range was fairly small compared to the CAMRA festival I last went to and there was ciders and wines available at that..... SWMBO was less than impressed too as all I could find her to drink were lighter beers.... She drinks <shhhhh> wine mostly <shhhhh> with the odd voddie for a little variety.
Went into the Sheffield Tap at the railway station after and nearly dropped through the floor after ordering 2 pints, a glass of wine and a gin & tonic..... Change from £20, yes but £2:10 change from that for 4 drinks.... Now I know one of the founding reasons for me homebrewing and enjoying it too!!!
