Competition to Win Homebrew Kits

Post by Brewbitz » Tue Sep 24, 2013 9:31 am

Hi all. Thanks to Jim for letting me tell you about this.

As Brewbitz Homebrew Shop is new, we thought we would kick it off with a competition.

Do you fancy winning enough homebrew kits to make a years supply* of homebrew beer, wine, cider or lager?

We have created a Facebook page, where we are holding the competition.

http://www.facebook.com/brewbitz

How to enter:

1) Simply go to our facebook page & Like It.

2) Take a look at our website http://www.brewbitz.com, find the homebrew kit you want to win.

3) Copy the page URL, and paste it in the comments section of our competition along with everyone elses comments. Here's a shortcut to the competition - https://www.facebook.com/brewbitz#!/pho ... =1&theater

4) Then share it with all your friends.

But hurry, the competition ends on 30th September

* Sorry, we have had to put a figure on what is a years supply, so, our years supply is based on 1/2 pint a day of beer, lager or cider and 125ml of wine. But that's 2 x 30 bottle wine kits and 5 x 40 pint beer kits which should keep you going for a while.

Good Luck

Wait, we're only supposed to be drinking a half pint a day? My bad. :)

Just teasing, this is a cool contest idea. Best of luck to you and your business!

A couple questions:
So you only sell malt extract kits, no actual malt, and only a single separate hop (Cascade)? Hopefully that's temporary?

Out of curiosity, why do you sell the Coopers Brewmaster Irish Stout Kit but not the plain ol' Coopers Stout?
For context, check out this thread: Ditch Stout Master Class.
Needless to say, you'll multiply your stout sales to Jim's Beer Kit members if you offer the main Coopers Stout.

Hi. Good questions. simple answer, we have gone with the most popular sellers of online kits. But of course we will be looking at getting in more and more as we grow and understand our market better.

I've been brewing at home for years, but there is still a lot to learn. And as everyone is different, there is a huge combination of possible hops, malts, etc so when we get to that stage, we may be asking for thoughts from you guys.
