Right - I'm in for this one, have missed the last 2 competitions so will be good to get a brew on for the comp.

First one was trial and error...second one I did went a lot smoother and tastes great in FV, just need to bottle this weekend. Looking forward to batch 3 and 4 in the coming weeks!

One week to go guys!
Sadly I can not make the swap, as I have to work.
But Michael will be looking after the swap and the Competition.
If you have any bottles to drop off for the competition, please make sure there wrapped up so the shop owner Chris can not see the bottle, also leave a note saying who you are and your beer name.
I will be leaving 3 bottles of each of these for the swap:
ArmChair Blonde 4.4%
Dirty Brown 5.0%
EB1937 5.0%
Festive Pip 6.7%
Golden Boy 4.2%
Tha's Northern 4.5%
Valhalla 7.6%

Guys - looks as though I have an infection running through at least two batches of brews I did for the swap. Massive apologies if you end up with one of these. Currently trying to ascertain where I've gone wrong and a few suspects will be rooted out this week including the use of a different steriliser (Brew Safe which is apparently no rinse) in the last two brews after years of using Miltons, an old FV bucket which may be past it's best or the bottling wand. The blonde I put in a keg and is doing really well and getting supped away so I can only assume somewhere in the bottling process something is going amiss...
