The London and South East Home Brew Competition is now open to entries: London & Southeast 2018
The festival this year is again being held at Fourpure brewery in London. The £10 competition entry fee also gets you into the festival, with a glass and unlimited sampling of all the entries in the competition.
When
Sunday 20th May 2017 - (not Saturday as previously)
Competitor entry - 1-6pm an award ceremony and prize giving during the afternoon.
Important Deadlines
Register online and pay for all entries - We expect payment by the end of March. Entries can then be amended/changed through to 22 April 2018.
Delivery of entries to the brewery in person : No earlier than the 1 May and no later than Thursday 17th May. Fridays 4pm-8pm and Saturdays 11am-8pm. (times will extend when new tap room opening hours known)
Delivery of entries to the brewery by delivery service - No earlier than the the 1st May and no later than Thursday 17th May.

Just a couple of things to add to the above:
Subsequent entries to the 1st one are £5. Max 3 entries per brewer at the moment.
The judge feedback is generally very good, with most of the judges being trained and BJCP qualified - if you want an honest appraisal of your beer then there aren't many better ways of getting it than entering a competition like this.
Last of all, the prizes are usually pretty stellar. Last year saw the best of show winner 1st-3rd take home some serious stainless steel equipment.
