Gonna give this a go tomorrow - been to the hbs so the proposed recipe has changed a little...

5.00kg MO
0.25kg Crystal
0.25kg Wheat Malt

50g Northdown 6% 60 mins
40g Bramling X 7% 80' Steep
20g Bramling X 7% Dry (whatever I've got left really)

Going to be trying out my new hop strainer so fingers crossed :)

Mashing now at 68' - due to sparge at 9.50

Calculate it to be 35 IBU - usually do 30 so it'll be interesting to see if I can detect any difference...

All good!

Got 23L @ 1.047 which is just what I was looking for - pleased to say that the hop strainer was a great success :D
