10.43kg Muntons Perle
907g Crystal 80
57g Summit hops boil (18.1%)
43g Fuggle finishing
Safale S-04 and S-33 yeast
I used Summit hops because of pricing and availability. I couldn't get the 255g of Fuggle required or afford it. So seeing that I could use a small amount of the Summit for the bittering I jumped. I seem to remember reading that it was very difficult to determine the bittering hop.
This was brew day that turned into a teaching day. I had two friends over to watch and help and their reward was a batch to take home. It was good to have help, especially during the grain milling and doughing in process.
My capacity is only for a double batch (42 L) so we split the mash into two tuns, lots of water being heated and transfered. That was the hardest part. Once the first mash tun was sparged and drained in to the kettle, we rinsed out the tun and dumped the smaller batch and sparged it into a second kettle. After all the work the boils started only 10 minutes apart!
Drained the 42L batch into two fermenters and pitched with S-04 and S-33, drained the 21L batch and pitched with S-04.
From start to finish 5 hours from water on to a clean brewery

Pictures have been taken and will be delivered.
Again, special thanks to Graham for his quick reply earlier in the week.
