After picking out one of the barren hens for a roast today, I thought I'd get a brew on. My daughter was tied to my leg for most of the brew and she wouldn't let me break the hens neck so I had to give it the good news with one of my FAC air rifles (effin waste of a pellet IMO). I've called the brew Summer Gale as it was wholly based on Daabs recipe recommendations for Summer Lightning, however, it's not made with Optic or Hop Back yeast. I chose the name due to the inclement weather we seem to be experiencing at the moment.

I didn't have any whirfloc or irish moss although I did seem to capture a lot of trub in the boiler.
