woke up early got the kids out to swimming slapped the boiler on and am half way throught he mash

Styrian Stunner

4kg maris otter

35g styrian 90
35g styrian 15
20g styrian cooler

everything going to planish, leak from one of my elements :shock: but only minor.

Heres the grain weighed out

oh 15 mins to sparge time better heat the water up to temp.

How right you are Steve as you can see from the photo my fermenter is... er... full and on the bar :lol:

So used to Saf 04 being done and dusted in a week but tried out a liquid yeast and it has not quite done. So had to nip to Wilko's and get a new bin drill a hole and sanitise it all

When we had a Northern meet up in the Crown Inn Stockport one of the beer on tap was Bobek, a pale ale and generously hopped.

It was nothing like Styrain Stunner.....I was hoping it was :cry:
I can't remember anything but the disappointment :oops:
I was expecting strong citrus notes and a clean taste. I seem to remember a cloying taste and little to note :!:

As with anything I'd say don't be put off try for yourself :wink:
