well a few weeks on and I can say the hobgoblin is an absolute cracker - my worries about the lack of fermentation and re-dosing with yeast were not founded. the Lager yeast has gone off a treat - good clear beer, nice level of carbonation and it seems to glue to the bottom pretty well.
