Well since morrisey has cracked it and invented the perfect pint (a golden ale no less) im going to be a cheeky bugger and copy him, only joking i've been planning my pale ale for a while now.

Anyhoo

Marris Otter 5 Kg
carahell 0.25 Kg

Mash at 65 C for 75 min

15g cascade (7 %) at 60 min
15g cascade (7 %) at 30 min
15g cascade (7 %) at 1 min

fermenting with nottingham.

Will be doing this tonight when SWMBO leaves for yet another hen party.

Sounds nice, you'll have to do a bottle swap with NM to see who's is best

The boil is only under way now  , i was pressed into service as a taxi driver for the afternoon, its been mashing for about 4 hours  , it'll probably be very thin, but its supposed to be a quaffing ale so maybe that'll be no bad thing. Either way im sure it'll still end up drank :D

Me too but the brewery is full of timber.... I guess it's encouragement to get the bloody job finished.
