1.014, set the ATC800 to 8°C now 'til I keg on Friday night.

Why do you lower the temperature to 8C :?: Just asking as i have just set up a fridge with a ATC800 :D

Sorry didn't spot your post sooner, I set it to this temp to assist the yeast dropping out. I'll probably put Isinglass in the keg anyway but a few days at a low temp should drop quite a bit of yeast.

By way of scientific research :roll: I decided to try a taste of this carbonated green beer :roll: .

I'm very happy with it so far, full mouthfeel, caramelly, there's no way this keg will last long. I've got 1½ kegs to drink in front of it though so fingers crossed it might reach puberty :lol: Perhaps the spiciness of Challenger for bittering may add even more? - Thinking aloud

I haven't pitched enough sediment into this brew, nor the last. I know this now and think it might go someway to explain the a) slow ferment of the last brew, and b) the slightly higher FG's than expected from an efficient brewery yeast...my bad.
However on 2 weeks kegged sampling things seem pretty good. Could perhaps up the aroma next time though.
