Hunky Dory (ish)

Post by smp465 » Sat Aug 16, 2008 12:03 am

Just pitched this, sorry for lack of photos but half of my posessions got "lost" on a recent holiday! They have been found since, but i await their arrival!!

25 litres:
4.53kg MO
0.2kgAmber (short of Marc O's recipe)
0.5kg Munich (to use up)

90mins
Challenger (30.5IBU)
15 mins
Cascade (3.0IBU)
1 min
Cascade (1.5 IBU)
US-05

First use of water treatment results from alkalinity test kit as well. I was using slightly less CRS than used for this brew, but i will post details in liquor section once i can assess the final product. I will say that this beer seems very clean! The wort is very clear, i am excited. Like the idea of the challenger bittering with a cadcade aroma/nose.
Drinking: Double IPA (Mr President Clone)
Drinking: London Porter (5%)
Drinking: Belgian Dubbel (8%)
Conditioning: West Coast Red (5.6%)
Conditioning: Nelson & Friends Series No.1 (Mosaic)
FV: A few spiders
Planning: Everything else!
