Excellent news - should be a good old mouth-puckering experience, but I'm sure that you won't care too much after a few :lol:

Hope the airshow is excellent - I saw XH558 on it's last flight at Biggin Hill (well I was playing cricket about 2 miles away directly underneath the flightpath as it went over very low with others in tow). I was amazed the bails stayed on...!

Here's a video from the airfield - amazing.

It should be a good day! Here's the flying display list;

The airfield is less than half a mile over the trees that are in the background in the pics - all the planes come right over the house, so we just have a bunch of people round, fire up the barbies ad drink all day! It's like having our own private airshow. They've had some of the aerobatic teams practicing for the last few weeks - and i thought I'd never sayit, but i'm getting a bit bored of watching do loops and stuff!

Of course, my keg freezer has chosen this precise moment to die on me! So it's going to have to be cornies in a big bin of iced water this weekend. Which could be a good thing as i won't have to keep going into the garage for refills - I'll just set up a tap right next to the bbqs!

Well....back home this evening and had to have a sneak preview of the Bomber - it's come out lovely! 'tis a hop bomb for sure. All the Cascade and the US-05 has given it a wonderful citrussy, grapefruity tang. Nice body and mouthfeel.

The wife thinks this is my best one yet - she doesn't really like beer, but she is an expert wine taster, so I value her opinion all the same. She even had a second "tasting glass" of this one.....

Chuffed to bits - it's come out just how I wanted it! We'll probably drink it all on Sunday!

Should have posted this earlier as the conry is just about finished now!

Anyway - here's the finished product. It was good on the 24th, but it's much better now. Really rounded off nicely.

This is also the first beer that I have used finings on - and it's come out beautifully clear, so I am pretty chuffed with that.

Should have been a full pint for the pic, but I couldn't resist a mouthfull

It still amazes me that I can make beer of this quality at home for about 25p a pint! What a great hobby AG Brewing is....
