Brewing a Best Bitter today, with US hops and fermented with 1469. I may add some pics later. The malts are all left overs, so I thought I'd make a bastard. Should be nice though.

4082g Golden Promise
227g Caramunich
113g Carapils
113g Aromatic
28g Amarillo @ 45 min.
14g Centennial @ 30 min.
14g Centennial @ 15 min.

That looks a really good recipe would be very interested to find out how it turns out. Hope you had a great brew day.

Fermentation started fast and is quite mad. Sounds like someone's pounding on the walls of my garage!

Centennial is considered by many to be a clean, refined, super cascade. I see no reason why you couldn't just use cascade. Probably be killer.

Thanks Worst, I probably wont double the cascade relative to the Centennial, but what about 1.5 times (21g) or would that be to much?

I think that would be fine. Lately I've been adding hops once the wort cools down a bit. A good addition at the end will get you that lovely aroma.
