The wife as to work tomorrow and saturday so i`m planning on brewing both days.

Sat will be one of my own creations Golden Ghyll
3500g MO Pale Malt
50g Amber/Crystal
250g Wheat
30g First Gold 60mins
20g First Gold 15mins
10g First Gold 0mins (steep)
IBU 31.31 BU:GU Ratio: 0.82
Estimated OG1038
Not sure what it will turn out like as i`ve never used First Gold before but i`ve got about 300g of it
so thought i`d use some.

The lager is done and its now in the FV with yeast pitched.
OG 1040 the calculations i did should have had it at 1039 so not bad.
I need to sort out another hop strainer as it must have taken nearly an hour
for the wort to drain from the boiler to the FV, the one i had before was just a rolled
up piece of splatter guard mesh, but it went rusty after about a month ?.
So next time i`m near a shop that sells them i`ll get another, unless i can makeshift
something between now and tomorrow, doubt SWMBO will be too pleased if i doctor her seive
