Brewing TTL Sat 10th

Post by GBH » Fri Jan 09, 2009 2:50 pm

Hi all,

Ok got my Boiler (thanks Leyland HB!) my water treatments and hops & grains.

My 3rd attempt and I want to do the best brew ! a TTL clone

Im going to use ASDA smartprice water and some Gypsum to treat the mash / boil (really want to get an even better pint out of this batch)

Using MO Pale Malt instead of Golden Promise.

I'll take some pics !

My mates had a word with a local brewery and they agreed to let me have some Yeast, so could be interesting. Failing that itll be Safeale-SO4

Cant wait till the Weekend! Can just imagine the smell of the Fuggles, Styrians & Goldings now! (well erm at least that cancels out the look on SWMBOs' face when she returns from shopping to find the bombsite that used to be the kitchen!!)

:)
