Bigster Brewday 05/11/2006 - TTL
Slight change of approach now I have corni so was going to add fininigs tonight after 7 days while still in primary then rack bright (hopefully!) to corni next weekend.
However thought I would chuck hydrometer in ( dont normally bother ) and the reading is 1.020 when I would have expected nearer 1.010.
It has been fermenting in my garage so I had the heating belt on for first 4 days but switched off too early maybe. Turned it back on now - guess the temp of the beer has affected reading but wouldnt have expected that much difference
Anyway tasted good and not sweet so will check again in a few days

My corni keg has been christened and is now full of TTL
Followed all the cleaning / sanitising tips so everything should be ok. Appears to be a little drop in pressure but not much.
Wasnt crystal clear when went in so expecting gunk through with first pint or 2.
One question is as some beer remains in the line between the disconnect and tap does this ' go off' between sessions? Probably not an issue with the 1/2 metre tube I have at moment but looking to increase this to stop frothing.
Cheers
