Will be doing this one tomorrow from Grahams book; anyone made it before who can offer any tips?

Pilfering some Hopback yeast from bottles may have been good.

Are you underway yet?

For my 2nd AG I certainly wouldn't bother attempting to use the yeast from the bottle, SO4 will do nicely. I've made that particular beer and indeed am drinking it now (well, not right at this moment :) ), a very nice beer it is too. :)

Well that's AG 2 in the bag, still came up short tho... Target was 19l, ended up with 14, so ended up adding 3 in water... pah

Getting there tho....

Has a sneaky taste of last weeks pendle which is into 2nd ferm and it's loverly, a bit like old perculiar and tastes a strong un.

AG is so much worth the effort..

Cheers

Clearly I'm doing my AG apprenticeship and no doubt there will be a few more brews that are not so efficient until I sort things out; but as long as I'm learning and getting decent beer at the end of it; I'm happy! :D

Cheers
