Brewing the following tonight as the weather is a bit cooler i hope to have some pics and a report later on

Bishops Farewell - Oakham Ales

10 gallon brew
36.6 EBU,
4.6%ABV

Mash efficiency: 70%

9kg Maris Otter
409g Wheat Malt
77g challenger (6.5%) whole boil,

52g cascade (7.6%) last 15 min,

48g cascade at boiler off.

I had a nightmare with this because I had an electrical fault after the first batch. I didn't realise that our fuse board needed fuse wire for the breakers so I had to throw the batch away because I lost power on the switches. Since then I have a double socket rcd which will stop the power overloading I know I should have done this to start with :( . I have now brought some new malt to have a go at this the weekend i'm going to use Safale-04

I have distant memories of my dad using silver foil to fix a fuse. It's a wonder the house didn't burn down :roll:
Better luck with the next batch and let us know how it compares to the original.
