Assuming my calculations are correct and rounding to the nearest .1 percent
The "weaker" cider started with an OG of 1.046 and the FG is 1.001 thats 6.1%ABV and taste like a medium sweet cider.
The stronger cider started with an OG of 1.078 and the FG is 0.996 thats 11.1%ABV, surely that an apple wine not cider

Both batches have produced 4lts each and I primed both with 16g of white sugar, simply divided 80g by 5 as per the 40pint kits. I also put 5 canderel tablets into the 4lts of stronger cider to sweeten it, this is experimental, tried trolling through the topics without much luck.
I lost a bit of colour, in the DJ both appeared quite red but I think the lees being quite pink were adding to the colour.
Heres a picture, the swing tops are presents for friends and i thought they were better than the green PET bottles.
Cheers Adam
