Mash after the first running, all those oat husk came in really useful, very smooth running. But it look like un-crushed grain :o

Think I could have done with some Oat Husks today! I had fun and games with my first sparge!

I have found that wheat beer are a good stepping stone with lager drinker, or at least my friends!

Yeah, second Sparge seemed to run much more free, ended up hitting my OG so something must have worked out :)

I've got thoughts of trying a Schneider Weiss clone at some point, so I suppose it might pay to give the mash a helping hand.

The bit of Munich in there really makes it a much more interesting drink :D

I kegged mine today....tastes good so far. Should be ready to drink after a week at 35psi!
