Roasted a pumpkin for an hour or so at 160c, it smelt lovely, kind of wasn't expecting much really as most squashes don't taste of much but this one really smelled like pumpkin pie

Anyway I put in 750g of roast pumpkin, a bit less than the recipe (that Jamil bloke again) suggested, but I've no rice hulls and didn't want a stuck sparge, but definately wanted some pumpkin in the beer, I think the recipe suggestion of 2.26kg would be waaaay too much to be honest.
Bit of a pain measuring out 1/8 tsp (0.13) of spice, a little sceptical that I'll be able to taste them, but the advice is add a little now and then adjust by steeping some spices in vodka and adding them to the keg.
Batch sparge run off was a bit slow, but uneventful, all things went to plan and the only drama was when I got engrossed watching Christopher Walken (he looks old

Anyway, got 1.053 S.G which was 0.003 short for 23l, meant my efficiency was a touch under 70%, no big deal, tasting the wort reminds me of the smell when driving past the Weetabix factory nr kettering on the way to Whicksteed park as an 8 year old, here's the recipe:
