AG #18 Starless & Bible black (stout )

AG #18 Starless & Bible black (stout )

morning, decided to put a stout together and came up with this.

25 litres

pale malt 4500 gms
black malt 150 gms
chocolate malt 300 gms
flaked barley 500 gms
roasted barely 250 gms
amber malt 200 gms
66 c mash 90 minutes

48 grms Target hops 90 minutes - 54 IBU

safale 04 yeast

everythings going smoothly so far, about half way into the boil.

nice one, ive not used saaz befor, im all done and wrapped up, 24 litres in the FV , OG 1.058

time for a bacon butty i think! 8)

Classic album, but not to everybody's taste - think Prog Rock meets Jazz!

Back to the beer... should be a complex brew, I like a bit of amber malt in a stout. Have a good one. :wink:
