Congratulations on the first successful AG :) The best kit I did was only as good as the worst AG I've done. If you see what I mean. My first one had a slight haziness to it, which I think was because I didn't boil it hard enough. I also used irish moss as copper finings, which are a bit pants. Last time I used Whirlfloc and it came out of the boiler as clear as a bell.

My CaCO3 was quite a lot lower than the water company's figures too. I measured it at 254 but they give it as 308. Makes you wonder what else is miles out on the report too.

TBH it's not the best picture, and certainly doesn't do it justice. If I get round to taking a better one, I may post that as well/instead.
