Dizzy Blonde - lots of pics!

Following my success with Sazzy Blonde last year, decided to come up with something simialar - a heavily hopped, strong pale with a lemony and limey twist - this is what I ended up with.... Wanted to take the opportunity of the cold weather to use S23 again!

Image

Started off with a 30 minute boil of filtered water with 3ml CRS, 5g Gypsum and 3g Epsom
Image
Grain Bill weighed - an additional 5g Gypsum added
Image
Mash Liquor to 71C and grain doughed in, temperature dropped to 67C
Image
Mashed out a 66C
Image
Collected first runnings in a pan, reheated to 80C and reintroduced into top of mash tun
Image
Sparged down to 1012
Image
Collected 27 litres with a pre-boil gravity of 1042
Image
Good rolling boil going fo 90 minutes, late boil hops and Irish Moss added 10 minutes before and of boil
Image
Getting the wort cooler ready - late boil hops left in for 10 minutes during cooling
Image
Aerating and transfering to fermenter - 19 litres collected at 1062
Image
Good cold break, settling out nicely
Image
After first 12 hours, temperature seems to be in the right range - ambient garage temperature is 8C, and it's holding it's own at around 12C
