I know of 4 or 5 pubs close by to me that do it on draft normaly blonde but i have had brown from one. Most places will only serve you half pints i have drunk it in pints in one place and trust me 4 or 5 pints of it and your well on your way. Also most of the good ale pubs local to me even a local micro seem to serve Buds Budvar which isnt a bad pintTimo wrote: Leffe would be nice to see on draft in a uk pub but I haven't ever seen it

Re: I feel dirty
Fosters in Oz is a totally different brew to the one over here. We only get the sh(t version over here because IB brew it to fall in line with Carling etc

Re: I feel dirty
Nowt wrong with spending all day on Carling Cold. I am able to do that, watching sunday footie
I spent last sunday out on mothers day on TTL and was out the game after 6 pints!!!
So it does have it's place, as a session lager IMO

First lager I ever brewed successfully. . .Thanks go to Graham Wheeler for the recipe. Used to have it at a local restaurant . . .but then it closed and brewing my own was the only way to carry on drinking it.
Re: I feel dirty
Mmmm. Bitburger is a wonderful beer, thanks for some good beer memory jogging aleman!
There is nothing wrong with any well made and tasty lager, and I reckon making a good one is much harder than making a decent ale. What we're not talking about is Carling or Fosters...

Aleman did you post your brewday/recipe?
I love Bitburger and would like to try a clone as my first 'pale/pils' lager....
A link would be fantastic if you can dig one out...
Danke!
