i think they go well with styrian goldings yummmmmy! need to order some cascade will the pellets be ok with just a normal hopstopper (drilled copper pipe)

You will have trouble, it might get clogged. I bodged together a solution which is some metal gauze crimped around my drilled copper hop stopper. Works fine but I also have a pump which helps.

Really though I just save the pellets for dry hopping because they make good contact with the beer, get fresh whole hops if you can.

Drinking this now, and I have to say this is just now at the level where it tastes good. Beers with this level of hops need age, no doubt about it. My theory is tannin from the hops make the beer seem harsh, especially when there's not much body from an American ale yeast. I think if you can cold condition the beer or bottle it, it will mature faster.

Not sure how to describe the beer except to say it's like an amped up SNPA.

Good stuff man. I am making an APA ish beer tomorrow, you have managed to show good restraint more than two months, how much do you have left?

Got another APA on with about 400g of simcoe and Amarillo.

Time of the year to get some wheaties and lagers on now.
