Brewday 25/4/11 - Cascarillo pale ale
Re: Brewday 25/4/11 - Cascarillo pale ale
Everyone who's tried this loves it, but I can't drink more than one as it's too sweet for me. I've ended up giving most of it away!
I'll back right off on the crystal and the vienna next time.

I'm regretting giving this away now. I left a dozen bottles in the fridge for a few weeks and this has really mellowed in to a lovely pint. The cascade has smoothed out and the vienna balances it nicely. More hops next time me thinks!

More Amarillo too next time

Your right mate. The amarillo was a user upper, so that was the last of a bag in the freezer. Just got hold of a couple of bags of citra though. Can't wait to test it out. First attempt will be to dry hop an Aurora pale ale. Click! Any advice on how much is just enough pdtnc?
