Time for something a bit more sessionable. Had some lovely Harvest Pale Ale last weekend, which put me in the mood for something hoppy and below 4%. I still have some Citra which I'm enjoying in my IPA at the moment, so I've decided to do a single-hop one. Mashing now...
4kg Maris Otter
100g Crystal
90min:
5g Citra (13.8% AA)
20 min: 15g CItra
10 min: 30g Citra
Post-boil: 10g CItra
AG#4 Tamar Pale Ale
Re: AG#4 Tamar Pale Ale
After the clarity problems I've had before, I'm pleased to say that it went into the fermenter perfectly clear.

Re: AG#4 Tamar Pale Ale
Sounds like a nice easy drinking brew mate. I just finished drinking an all citra brew I made a while back, its a nice hop. I think in future I would use a little less though as mine was a bit overdone. Your recipe looks just about right, I used about 3/4 times as many hops...
Re: AG#4 Tamar Pale Ale
A taste before I pitched the yeast was quite promising in terms of hops. I think I've got the right sort of level.
The main problem I had with this is that my efficiency was much higher than previous brews, so I went over my gravity target by quite a bit and had to dilute it. I went from under 70% to around 85%! I may be getting the hang of the sparging.
