Mad yes, Summer drinking Yes.
My biggest critic (My Father) Is not going to know what has hit him when this is ready as its very off piste to what he drinks but he has seen the light with my other AG brews and will appreciate everything about this beer especially as he had a hand in todays brew session.

I must say the compost bin this afternoon smelt good when I came to clean up

Exciting stuff - nice to see such interesting things going on! Flicking down through the pics it looks almost what I associate with pancakes, which can't be bad..

To my shame though, I'd assumed that 'in the shed' was the same old thread and haven't been re-visiting it - I'll have to look back through all the different episodes to see what i was missing out on :-)

cheers

sorry buddy like to keep the thread the same so I can use it as a reminder lol, just the date and name changes, the beer is always always off the wall.

just do an advanved search and put "in the shed" and my name "GARYSMIFF" to get them all, 2011 are dated rest are 2008/9 I did not brew in 2010 as had too much going on, still do but that just the brewing

Gary, nice recipe. It looks like something I'd do myself. Are you absolutely sure you're not an American?

Can you describe the taste for those of us that must enjoy it vicariously?
Secondary FV: As yet unnamed Weizenbock ~7%
Bulk aging: Soodo: Grocery store grape juice wine experiment.
Drinking: Evan Williams bourbon, Dewar's Scotch (white label), VO Canadian whisky. Various Sam Adams beers.

not interested in the aroma, colour or head retention then!!!! lol

it is a Medium mouth feel with a lite carbonation

Grapefruit tang along with a sweet banana hit that dries to its finish with a small hint of apricot.

Oh yea and Cold

needs more grapefruit / Bobeck and Coriander Seeds
