I have decided that all those hops left in the Boiler could go to another use.

So I have decided to do a back to back brew day.

Grain:
4kg Golden Promise Malt
400 gms Crystal Malt
200 gms Torry Wheat
200 gms Flaked Rice

Hops:

All the Spent hops from ( GB-SMIFF ) to go in @ 15min listed below, this is how they went into ( GB-SMIFF )
20gms Brewers Gold @ 60 mins
50gms Brewers Gold @ 15 mins
30gms Brewers Gold @ FO
20gms Amarillo hops @ FO

and
25gms Cascade @ FO

RIMS:
50º @ 15 min
70º @ 60 min

Yeast:
Liquid Ridleys

25 ltrs of 1048 in the FV ... joy :)

You just had to use up all that lovely fresh yeast didn't you :)
A little bit of cascade in there and you would be getting quite close to something out of the same place you got the yeast from.

IC looking very posh, didn't think about double feed of the LH & RH coils?

Needed to get it either side of the coppers outlet and the pigtail element , only problem is one coil had to be bent oposite to its original coil so not as tight but cable ties are great things( that will teach me to do it in the garden in the dark).

Reason I did it that way was was to keep it under the boil level rather than have 6" sticking out of the top.

That said I cant use it in a Bucket FV but don't plan to.

I made a dual coil one for a friend, 1 RH and 1 LH spiral, opened up a bit and pushed 'em together which makes it self-spacing... just a bit of buggering about getting the other fittings to fit right.
