Well the big girl got another run out on sunday, and here are the photos of her in action (sort of) the pictures are few and not so good (I was busy making sure all went to plan  ) but here's what I have

grist was 27.5kg maris and munich
hops 700ish grams of Styrian Goldings

Yeast 5 packs of SO4 rehdrated
brewlength, 140ltrs in the end (lost quite a bit to the hops)

Frantic mashing in ( I was underletting here)

A Pump and a chiller and some messy looking pipework.

Maxed out copper

I got this to a measured 105Deg C rolling like a gudun with no spills, the bricks round the copper were fantastic at keeping the heat in, the boil happened much much faster than last time i brewed on the old girl.

Quite a bit of yeast

That's massive! 170L, you've got to be banging out small commercial orders.

How much do you have to drink a day to get rid of that lot? :D

No commercial going on here I can promise you, Its only its 4th outing in 2.5 years, & this brew was split between me and another brewer.

The next brew should hopefully be a Yeast trial for the Group I belong too, hopefully one brew split 6 ways with different yeasts, but the same fermentation conditions. so we can then do a decent comparison and learn along the way.

Sounds good are you going to post results, or put them in Brewers Contact first? I take it it's a CBA group?

If we go ahead and do it the results will go in the BC.
