ah yes much clearer now I'm not viewing on my phone...so did you have to purchase anything additional so you could move the probe to its new location?

I bought a longer probe from Mr Lard so I may not have this issue - I too have the inlet tap in almost the same place as your MT, plus a tap on my pump which will be redundant for this purpose but might be useful for other things
