This one went off without a single problem.
Hit 1.060
No hop filter blockage this time i used a bag for them.
Used Centennial as i couldn't get citra.
Recipe was another from james morton brew book.

Im very happy with how clear it came out of the boiler.

I'd much rather have a single hoped centennial than citra did you adjust the quantity to get the same bitterness or just go with the same...

I haven't got to grips with the brewing software side yet so just straight swap.
I have played around with brew target but am thinking i may get beersmith and stick with it.
No activity in the airlock yet. Hope the pack of yeast i got is ok

Looks good. That recipe is identical to the 3 Floyds Hop Zombie "clone" that I brew (right down to the % of Munich, melanoidin and crystal). It's awesome with Citra but I bet it will be nice with centennial as well (I have actually been meaning to try this grain bill with centennial). Don't be afraid of English yeasts in these sorts of beers - quite a few US brewers are doing it, and I usually do this one with WLP002, which is believed to be close to what 3F use. I think it really adds something extra and rarely use super-clean US style yeasts any more even in APAs and American IPAs.

Im wishing i had now.
28 hours in and the 05 is doing very little.
Started an occasional pop at about 22 hours
The Belgium blonde brew i did went off like a rocket.
I think i look at them to much
I just asked my wife if she would like me to get two chairs so we can look at them:)
