Tried fly sparging once again, but I had difficulty getting the flow slow enough. In the end I did a sort of hybrid fly/batch sparge. Anyway it worked well enough with 32 litres in the kettle @1.043 pre-boil gravity.
Did a one hour boil instead of my usual 90 minutes which gave me 24 litres @1.048 in the FV. OG was possibly slightly over 1.048 with the refractometer indicating 12.4 Brix, but I haven't calibrated it recently so will go with the hydro reading.
Had to do a last minute adjustment to the hop schedule due to a lack of Magnum.
I have gone back to dry yeast after some infection problems which I think was due to my slightly lax yeast handling procedures when re-using liquid yeast.
Last two brews with US-05 and Nottingham have been infection free.

Next brew up will be the JBK Porter.
