Good looking pint IL. My Boddingtons came out quite a bit lighter :-k

Mine is fermenting away nicely this morning. I also saved a couple of litres of wort in the freezer, perfect gravity for my next starter.

Mine isn't as dark as the pic suggests.
When I am back around the camera I will take some with some better back lighting.
You get a bit of red coming thru.

Although that being said my beers always seem to come out dark - I wonder if my boil/excess evaporation plays a role.

That makes sense. Mine came out looking like Oblivious' photo, but it all depends on how you're looking at it, I guess.

Great looking beer by the way O, but is that a plastic cup? [-X

Nice looking pint OB - I assume the garda have taken away your glass jars for safety purposes!

I enjoy this one more with every pint. At first I thought it had more roast character than I wanted but the coffee flavor mellowed nicely. I think I started drinking this one 14 days post brew.

I will be curious to see what my brothers thinks of it. 3 of the 4 of em should be around in the next week or so. Will be the first time they have seen the beer engine in action as well.
