Hi

How did this one turn out? I'm thinking of doing this soon.

Your wort looked quite dark did you only use Pale malt and Crystal?

Hi Scarer
Only used Pale & Crystal Malt. I wasn't going to "crack" it open yet but as you asked I had a try and I like what is coming out the barrel. I will leave it for another 4 - 5 weeks. But if the taster is anything to go by.......
Will keep you informed. Give it a bash. :)

Looks delicious...let us know aht it tastes like when you crack it!.
Want to brew! want to brew! My mate Frosty has tasted my slowly improving beers (AG numbers 1,2,3) and has now got the bug. I predict in a year he'll have 8 kegs too!

Ah! I'm so envious, as I sit here drinking Lidl's Perlenbacher lager (made with real hop extract, dontcha know), all my brewing equipment is packed up and the shippers come on Wednesday to take it and everything else I own except one spare pare of pants to Wellington. Let's hope the sea is not too rough I'd hate to lose the new Corny I've just bought from Can direct...will try brewing the Kiwi version of this when I get the equipment off MAF close to Christmas!

I've had a go of this and it will be 3 weeks kegged tomorrow. I've had a taste and it was a bit young but hopefully it will turn out as good as yours!

Fingers crossed Scarer.
I'm going to make another batch so I can put it at the end of my line of kegs. So I can look forward to another one in 7 Kegs time :)
Really nice brew and worth the wait.
