Nice one!

Is it not possible to plumb in mains water to your brew area ? Obviously mains is going to be much more efficient at cooling than your nice centrally heated loft water :)

I should do, Andy. Useful for filling the HLT too. But I've had to impose a moratorium on building work -- to make more time for brewing :=P

Nice set up and its plain to see a lot of thought and work has went into it. I am guessing you made it to the GBBF then. How was it, i thought about coming down for it but then got sent offshore so that was shot down! Again, excellent set up. I'll try the windsor yeast in a light ale batch next time i am home, look forward to smelling the mangoes. I'm a big fan of Nottingham yeast so it will be good to see the difference in a light ale with the windsor.

Thanks, PM. I hate to say it, but the GBBF was a blast. Some top stuff there, and it's great to catch up on so many beers you've read about -- including on this forum -- and never tried. Also gave me the opportunity to confirm my prejudices against American IPAs.

Nice one, i may come down next year for it. I've not been to a beer festival since 1985 when i was a spotty lad of 16 years. 1 book of beer tickets cost £5 and that got you 10 1/2 pints. It was the Paisley beer festival in the town hall. I wonder if i will see a difference in cost/size of festival when i come down.... Good luck with the brew.

Can I just say Hogarth you've made a kit brewer very jealous. I consider myself still new to all this, and have been quite happy just playing around with kits. I foolishly wandered onto your posting and wished I hadn't. If, WHEN, I go AG, yours is exactly the kind of set up I'd love. Compact, and ultra efficient looking. I aint got the foggiest idea about this sort of thing, but I know what I like the look of. Think I'll pop up to the attic . . . . . .

Thanks BB. I'm glad my brewery is inspiring, and I hope you'll be joining us on the dark side before long. (Although I prefer to think of it as 'achieving enlightenment.')
