Aleman there is a guy selling new 330ml flip top bottles on ebay. I think you could buy 48 or 56 bottle batches. Only thing is the bottles are blue in colour. DOn't know if this would put you off. Personally i could not be bothered bottling into 330ml. I like 500ml ones, might be worth a look. search flip top bottles.

Cheers PM, I have seen those, and the blue does put me off . . . . I may bite the bullet and get a pallet of 180ml bottles . . . I'm sure I can ship a load off onto ebay :-k

Labelling my bottles today and pretty happy with the outcome(even did a poncy back label blurb 'n' a'thing). Tried one on Saturday and it was nice and smooth with a bit of choc coming through, it's way too early for it to taste this good. They are all going up into the loft so i can hopefully forget about them for the next couple of years(some chance)!

Thank you very much. I can see a laser printer and waterproof labels somewhere down the road. Definetely going to attend the GBBF next year and see what's what there.

Great labels PM! What did you use to stick them on with?

Very technical....... Prittstick along the 4 edges. Works well and comes off no problem in warm water when cleaning the bottles

Ah,
Now i'm going all shy, Just a bit about the beer, my influences in making it and a bit of general blah de blah. We'll do a swap sometime if you fancy it and you can see it for yourself as you were one of the influences?

Well here i am a month on and not resisting the pull to try this IRS. Its absolutely fantastic! Anybody out there who like stout but has not made a irs, please try one out. Its so bloody good, more flavour layers than a great big flavoury layered thing. In fact its so good i'm going to make i again tomorrow with some sparge imporvement and a bit of a grain/hop drop.
