Seconded, the crack was great, it was nice to meet Jim & Bill Bodger. (I have already met Garth & Taxmackem)

The bacon sarnies were great Jim! ( Not trying to rub it in!) :D

Thanks for the brewday Garth. It gave me the chance to see all the grain brewing process from start to finish and meet some fellow brewers. I suppose that's a bit presumptuous as I only do kits. You will be pleased to know I had a think on the way home as to where I can put an all grain setup and have found a place as long as I don't go mad with vessel sizes. I've also cleared it with her in doors so its looking like the Bodger will be going all-grain in 2009. I was mighty impressed with your stainless setup but still say you have too much money and don't know what to do with it. Bacon butties were great ( I should point out to the forum that you pushed out the boat a bit and went up market with the addition of brie) as was the fresh coffee (sorry you had to have instant Jim but you should get out of bed earlier). I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you for the invite and I shall look forward to tasting the brew in a little while.

Regards

BB

Sorry Jim, I have been well busy and I forgot, the brewed beer is now called Five Brewer Ale, I couldn't think of anything else that fitted the bill.

Here we go, four of the five brewers,

you just need a height chart at the side and it looks like a murder suspect line-up at the local nick. The one on the left looks well dodgy.

Jim, Dave (Horden), Tom (Taxmackem) and Frank (BodgerBill)

Thanks for all the lads turning up it was good crack, although I noticed there was me left when cleaning up time came round.... [-X :D

We cleared Garth out instead, he had no bacon, brie or coffee left after we scarpered! :)

we went with Nottingham, I've been getting a lot of hard-to-clear beers with US-05 so thought we'd see what happens with this, it's fermenting nicely giving off some very good smells.

The thermomter says its ranged from 18 - 22 C which is fine but I really need a fermentation cabinet sorted out for the warmer weather. Gonna have to press the ATC-800 into service soon......

Steve, I didn't forget about you, I invited by pm you but unfortunately you didn't read it in time, so I changed it to tell you about the meetup in Durham, sorry you missed out.

Maybe next time eh?

Sounds like a great day, brewing with friends always makes for a more enjoyable day.

Now about that picture, looks like a before and after add for hair regeneration creme...
